10. “We’ll always have Paris.”
Casablanca, 1942. The dramatic final scene. Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman) is getting on a plane out of Casablanca, and the love of her life, Rick (Humphrey Bogart) is staying, because their lives will be better apart. Ilsa asks “What about us?” and Rick replies, “We’ll always have Paris”. This quote is often referred to in satire, replaced with such things as “We’ll always have 7-11” or something to that effect. “Here’s looking at you, kid” is another of many famous quote from this movie, but is really not used much in conversation or web conversations today.
